Western Confrence game vs. NY Redbulls

This is all the old stuff from all the other threads.

I say invite them over. The chivas fans were actually nice to us so I think we should be the same...at least before and after the game....

Anyone opposed?

Ok I think I have a firepit thing we can bring...heres the rules (thanks Nessie)

Section 307.4.2 Recreational fires. Recreational fires shall not be conducted within 25 feet of a structure or combustible material. Conditions that could cause a fire to spread within 25 feet of a structure shall be eliminated prior to ignition.

Section 307.5 Attendance. Open burning, bonfires or recreational fires shall be constantly attended until the fire is extinguished. A minimum of one portable fire extinguisher complying with section 906 with a minimum 4-A rating or other approved on-site fire-extinguishing equipment, such as dirt, sand, water barrel, garden hose or water truck shall be available for immediate utilization

So...does anyone have a fire extinguisher or two? And who has wood? I have a little left over from last winter but not much.

Any type of tifo planned for the game? We're bringing 3 of our two-stick flags and a bunch of streamers. I didn't know if there was anything else we could contribute.

Stupid question - where do you guys usually tailgate at?

NNC..... we tailgate to the southwest of the stadium in a parking lot off of 9400 S...its called the Canyon lot.

My friend can bring his smoker/grill if Reed or someone with a pickup can pick it up early.... I will bring my smaller grill regardless.

Everyone needs to bring whatever they want to grill and drink.

They have the big portable lights going in that parking lot, but it still might be a little dark so a few small lights might be good.

Got me tickets :D But I'm section 201. Sorry but it's a much better view of the field. Went to a couple games in section 10 and that's cool but upper deck rocks. But I'm thinking about joining :D I need to find place form my Polish flag. So who's going to watch the game tomorrow and where? Maybe I'll stop by. Hope Chicago pulls it through.

RSL Encourages "Red Rally" at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday

The Real Salt Lake Front Office is encouraging all fans attending Saturday's Western Conference Final at Rio Tinto Stadium to don their best Claret (or Claret-and-Cobalt) gear in an effort to turn the stands into a "Red Rally" for the pivotal contest against the New York Red Bulls.

To help outfit the RSL faithful in red, the Real Salt Lake Merchandise Department will be offering 25-40% off selected items all week long at its office in the Trolley Corners building in downtown Salt Lake City (515 S. 700 East, Suite 2-B1) and at its kiosks located throughout Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday. Deals includes great savings on official RSL/adidas 2008 jerseys, with adult kits selling for $50 and children's sizes available for $30, both selling for $20 off the retail price. In addition, a limited edition red hooded sweatshirt ($40 adult/$30 youth) and pennant ($20) to commemorate RSL's appearance in the Western Conference Final will be available in limited supplies. For more information on the RSL Merchandise Department and their specials throughout the week, please call 801-924-8572.

As always over in the darkside it will be a blackout.
