One of the benefits of hanging around a group of soccer supporters is that your taste in beer goes up a lot. It’s like “Sideways” with more swearing. But we digress.

Season Ticket Holder Timeline

We are excited to announce that on July 30 and 31, Season Ticket Holders can purchase tickets, before the general public, to the USA vs. El Salvador World Cup qualifier on September 5th at Rio Tinto Stadium. Season Ticket Holders will receive more information next week on how they will be able to purchase tickets to this international showdown. Keep an eye on email, twitter, facebook and blog for more information.

If the process is like what they had set up for the USWNT Match That Got The Swine Flu, you could just log on and pick whatever seats you wanted.

Since my season ticket seats were about eleventy billion dollars under US Soccer's scheme, I was just going to move over a couple of sections to the next price point down.

OK...so where is The RCB sitting?? Can we buy tickets in a group so we are ALL standing together? If US soccer does not allow that...maybe we can all pay one person $ and they can secure tickets for all in The RCB who plan to go to this match??
I do not want to buy 1 ticket and find myself across the stadium from everyone and all the fun!

I have NO idea..this whole process is a joke! I just want to stand with my group and hopefully be in our section with all the other supporters.

I have to suggest getting tickets with either Sam's or the American Outlaws, that way you can be in the south with all the other supporters. The Outlaws actually have their ticket presale going on right now, until Wednesday.

I posted an email chain about Sam's up in the member section.
The RCB is moving to sections 8 & 9 at the new stadium, do you have your 2009 season tickets?

I'm south end too, tickets via Sam's Army. 4 of us from Boise plus 1 more from the SLC area will be in the south end.

I'd say as long as the south end is the supporters' section, that's where the RCB should be.

I agree...but it comes down to, are we going to be able to stand wherever we want?
I don't want to buy a ticket..and have mine in section 9..and everyone else in section 10 and not be able to move over....What is the atmosphere like at the US matches when it comes to seating in the supporters section...Is it treated like general admission like we treat our section?
