Here is the new forum, it is not perfect but it is free and should meet all our needs. I will be attempting to pull over some of the threads for the old board but can not promise that we will bring over everything.

It is supposed to, it is their footy theme. I thought it was a nice change of pace. It may not last long but I love the little soccer balls on the topics.

In the first day we have over 20 registered users and over 50 posts.

Not to bad for one day.

The new site has had 40 unique visitors within 48 hours of me posting the URL on the old and new boards.

Those are not bad numbers.

Trying not to get too dispondant, is that how you spell that?, with all of the backwards steps RSL is taking. Read my Lips, No New Stadium! I knew this was gonna continue. The stadium is going to be built, they are already laying the footings and have moved more dirt than I can even comprehend.

I am not sure if getting rid of Cunny for Esky and getting room to pick up a player like (Shalrie Joseph or Claude Mackelele- hell even picking up Kasey Keller) is a bad thing. I will miss cunny but we had to make some changes and he was really the only player with any real trade value on our roster.

I have to admit that relationships with the FO are really the same as always, we don't care about them and they can't do anything about us. RES staff has actually been very good this year and left us alone for the most part. We have built a good relationship with Bill Riley by showing up at the coaches shows, in fact he has been seen sporting a RCB shirt from time to time.

The EPL really will be a 4 team race again next season, I can't wait to see what happens when the transfer window opens in a couple weeks.

This will be the replacement. We are moving to a new host, with a new RCB homepage, a new forum, and a new batch of RCB blogs.

Couple of observations on the main web page...

The three boxes of links in yellow on the main landing page have no business being there. If they belong on the site at all (in my opinion only two do...the MLS one and the RSL one, business ones like foxsoccer or 4 4 2 absolutely do not unless they are paying the rcb to be there) it shouldn't be on the main page.

There is far too much info on the main landing page...it hurts my brain to look at. ANDit should be kept current. (Good design would put most of that info on other pages).
