RSL v. Seattle 8/8

Postby JUDGE DREDD » Sat Aug 08, 2009 11:03 pm

Great match! But wow did The Riot look empty! I thought for sure there would be more people being this the first time Seattle has come to town; and it being such a crucial match for RSL. I heard the announced attendance was a little over 14K. I know that is counting tickets sold, and not people through the gates. I would guess around 10-11K people in actual attendance. Hope there is more out next weekend.
Great to have the Idaho RCB Crew down for the match; the banners and stick signs were AWESOME!!

Pictures?
One of the benefits of hanging around a group of soccer supporters is that your taste in beer goes up a lot. It’s like “Sideways” with more swearing. But we digress.

Great time at the tailgate and game. Totally worth the trip every time we come down. We'll be back in October for the crapids game - we've got some more ideas floating around for banners and 2-sticks for that game.

And on a side note, I definitely have to do an away game next year.

Glad you guys made it down. Look forward to having ya back down here for the crapids. Thanks for the stick banner...we will put that one to good use!
