Slumdog Millionaire

Postby rslfutbolfan » Mon Feb 02, 2009 6:15 pm

I highly recommend this movie! It has a little for everyone and is way different than your normal american movie. Its about a boy from the Mumbai slums making his way onto Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (India version). He does extremely well and is accused of cheating...it then flashes back to pieces of his life where he learned all the answers to the questions. Excellent and up for many awards!

I have been wondering about this one. It's the kind of film I end up seeing, but usually on DVD. However, I might end up seeing this one on the big screen. You and everyone else that I have talked to who has seen it have had nothing but good things to say about it.
"Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat
you with experience." So always remember this, "Some people are like
slinkies, not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to
your face when you push them down a flight of stairs."

I finally saw it as I ass/u/med it would be a turd, but I was wrong. I am contemplating whether or not it is the greatest piece of film making I have ever seen.
What's the over under on the rcb?
