I know this is a topic we have discussed many times before in the past.
From time to time I drop in on BigSoccer and see what else is going on in RSL land.
They are discussing trying to get a Stadium Song going for RSL.
Both RSL & MLS have tried to stick us with a song and neither took off.
In my travels to England and Austria I have been lucky enough to experience first hand an entire stadium singing one song in unison. There is not much else in sports that can even come close to this.
Now most of these songs that are attached to the clubs have been well embedded into society and have been passed down from one generation to the other. For example "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" came out in 1918, and was introduced to West Ham by a former manager in the late 1920's.

The key I see is to take a established song that is fairly simple to sing and memorize and run with it.
I still dig Salt City Bandits' "Salt Lake Pride"
Sinatra, My Way.
Pennywise cover of, Stand by Me.
There are plenty songs out there that would work..it's just a matter of getting enough voices behind it.
Few things that would help something like this.
All RSL supporter groups are allowed access to the Riot during the off-season a few times to practice working together on songs and chants. This would also allow us to try out a few songs and see which might work well for the entire supporter culture, which would then transfer over to the rest of the stadium.
As for the RCB:
We need more voices behind songs! We sound so good on a few of our main songs, but then there are a few where it seems like 2-3 of us are carrying the entire group. This I know will change with practice, but we must practice to get better.
