Thinking about a new camera

I don't know everything, not even close. I take pride in know enough people who know enough that I can find an answer to just about any question.
Oh and I made a minor purchase as a stop gap until I can make up my mind. I got a Cricket wireless broadband USB modem, which means I now have internet access anywhere I take my laptop. So far my downloads are quick, just over 1mbps.
