I found more people who want to come to the game... they want to know if there will be tailgating before.

Naturally, I assumed that there would be some sort of drunken debauchery occurring in the parking lot at like 5 or so, but I thought I should see if anyone had any plans (other than sneaking E. coli infected water into the Crapids locker room).

I have not heard of any formal plans but I have also told numerous ppl that YES we will be there somewhere at sometime before the game. Im not the planmaker though dont ja know.

Katie, my brother, his girlfriend, and I are doing the following:

Flying (Southwest flight 975)

Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, Denver Airport

Plans for Saturday depend on the FO bus--we won't be renting a car, so we'll either take their bus to the game or take a cab if we want to make the tailgate early.

We're all in the suite, but I have 4 free tickets to the regular seats if anyone wants them or knows someone who needs them.

Is anyone driving out to Colorado that would have room for one or two ppl that are happy to pitch in for gas and beer? AND/OR does anyone have room in their hotel room for these ppl to share the cost also?

So, quite a few of us will be in Denver around 10am...Current plan is to do lunch and some drinking at the Celtic Pub downtown, and head to the field by 5, with some booze in tow. I will have all the tickets with me. If you don't have my cell phone number, pm me and I'll give it to you. We should meet up in the lot pre-game, and head in in time to grab a bite to eat before the game starts...the suite is supposedly catered...I'll find out tomorrow what that really means.

I am on your flight heading over Reed, I think there are others on that flight too. So I am down for checking in at the hotel then hitting the town. I have never been to Denver.

I got Bucky a ticket, Nick Moore couldn't get work off so he's using my extra.

I talked to Bob yesterday and he said he got work off so he will be there.

I'm so jealous!. This is the biggest match in RSL's history. I'll be watching for you guys on HDNET and listening to the stupid 'talking head' (Balboa) gushing over his former team. Someone needs to give him an RCB scarf/shirt or something to mention we have better fans than the cRapids.

ok...I have the straight dope on the suite...

The suite isn't catered, though you will be able to get a beer/mixed drink...
The cost of having the suite catered is like $400...the cost of having 4 six-packs of beer is like $85. Clearly the beer seems like a better deal than the food, but I don't have any plans to spend that kind of money. There will be a menu, and you can get food and booze brought to the suite for yourself...I think I'll invest my money in out-of-stadium booze and food.

I'm going now. Still want to split a room Judge. It's me and Rod. (older guy that is always with me.) Call me right away will you?
