My guess is the top of the mountains bowl will be played at Sandy instead of rice eccles this december. That being said I doubt it counts as a landmark event of any sort.
One of the benefits of hanging around a group of soccer supporters is that your taste in beer goes up a lot. It’s like “Sideways” with more swearing. But we digress.

a lot of this has to do with Dave's connections to Snow College, but I almost wonder if they will lay down the plastic and put turf on top? They have spent a lot of money on the grass and it would be under cover for the winter anyhow. Not sure we will probably here more today as they do the offical press release.

This will be a December match, not sure if it will be the Mountain Bowl, or if they will rename it.
The RCB is moving to sections 8 & 9 at the new stadium, do you have your 2009 season tickets?

I think he either is a big contributor, or one of his kids went there, or he knows somebody, who knows somebody.

I think if they can generate revenue in the middle of december than all the better.

Heck we might have to get used to it, if the MLS ever goes to the schedule that most other leagues use.

MLS, in my opinion is more likely to go to a split schedule like a lot of the colder places in Europe use. In Russia for example, the season takes a break from the end of November to the first of March. If you've never experienced a Russian winter, it's no wonder about everyone who has ever tried to invade Russia was killed off by it.

I dont like the idea of sitting outside in December...even for a futbol game. Like once in a while in a snow storm singing christmas carols is fun, but....
