I was thinking about making a banner to hang from the railings at the Riot. Since I live in Idaho I don't have a clue if there are metal railings to the side or behind the RCB section to hang a banner from and if there are some railings how long and tall are they?

Right now I'm thinking going simple. Something along the lines of a big RCB logo in the middle of the banner with "SINCE" to the left and "2005" to the right.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is one railing in front of our section that the big RCB banner hangs from. We use to hang a few Gaffer made behind us on some rails, but since the stage is up the Barra guys are behind us and have taken over those rails. There is plenty of room to hang banners on the concrete, but you would either need some tape, or some weighted bags to hang them from.

Thanks for the info Judge. I was hoping to be able to put in grommets and zip-tie the banner up. I think can handle that when I'm drunk, but I suppose duct tape might not be too big of an adversary either.

IIRC, isn't there a railing that goes down the stairs along the end of section 9 (end towards the corner flag)?

If this one turns out ok and I find a decent place to hang it, I'm thinking of making one for the Colorado game that says "Rapid Haters" on it.

Speaking of Barra, was that really a Western Union logo I saw on some of their flags? I guess it's more power to them for finding a sponsor, but it kind of takes away some of the grassroots/DIY elements of being in a supporters group.

One last question, I don't have to get special permission (or go in super early) from the FO to bring in banners to hang up, do I? I know that at USA games in different venues I've been something like that was needed,

In that same album are some of the 2 stick banners I've made this summer.

I'm not sure what your guys' relationship with Barra Real is, but I have the fabric to make one more 2 stick banner and I'm thinking of having it say something along the lines of "Independent Since 2005" with a smaller font reading "(Insert Corporate Ad Here)." Now if this would ruffle too many feathers between RCB and Barra Real, I won't make it, but their corporate sell-out flags piss me off.
