All-Star Match

Postby JUDGE DREDD » Sun Jun 14, 2009 10:37 am

Why is the All-Star match on a Wednesday night???

Anyways...what are the plans for this one? Any word if we can get extra tickets in the south end yet?

I think I'm going to take this day off and spend it out tailgating. Anyone else up for a full day of tailgating?

It is on Wednesday because they want to make sure it gets on ESPN, and weekend coverage is iffy at best.

I am thinking I will probably take Tues and Wed off and be down at Rio Tinto doing pictures and blog updates from practices and any other media events (if I get credentials).
The RCB is moving to sections 8 & 9 at the new stadium, do you have your 2009 season tickets?

I'm for sure taking that Wed off. So I plan to tailgate all day and have some fun.

I'll have that whole day off as well. Should I plan on picking up some Hornsby's? :D

So now I am hearing our favorite friend the DAMN POLE could be there with us at the All-Star match. Maybe this is the reason why we can't get extra tickets for the South End since they don't know how many seats will actually be in the South End.

When I talked to Brent a couple weeks ago to order tickets for the Seattle game he said that the damn pole will be up for the all-star game and Seattle game.

I'm assuming this means that they'll have some sort of halftime concert in the stage area some how during the all-star game.

I asked if the damn poles/stage will be removed for the US game and he said that was still in discussions with USSF.

I'll be there around 1-1:30 with beer and brats. Does anyone have a cooler? I'm coming on TRAX as usual so I'm just gonna have everything in a bag.
